Facebook keeps asking how I’m feeling…

It’s creepy, ok? Stop asking me things like that, computer person.

Truthfully I’m starting to feel pretty crappy. Winter has finally struck me down with her mighty sickness. I’ve got a sore throat and a cough and a runny-slash-stuffy nose. No bueno.

And excuse how random this post will be, it’s late and I’m about ready to go to bed.

Branden and I got pizza hut for lunchdinner. (leftovers, ftw!) Pizza hut rarely gets our order correct. But the thing is… when they mess up, it’s usually in our favor. For instance, a few months ago we had a friend over and we ordered some pizza for all of us. One of them was a plain cheese pizza. When it got here, they’d forgotten to stick a little Barbie table in the box and all the cheese was smashed against the lid. We also had one pizza that was just the wrong type. So I called and told them and about 20 minutes later we had fresh pizzas delivered to our house. Only the driver brought three pizzas, not two. We ended up with SIX pizzas because of their mess up.

Tonight was no different. We went in to the store and placed our order because we also had to get a few other things in town. The waitress brings our stuff out in boxes and we leave. We ordered wings and a large pizza, half cheese half pepperoni. She brought out three boxes with wings in them and two pizza boxes. I didn’t realize the mess up until we were in the car. They gave us a whole cheese and a whole pepperoni pizza. (And no, I don’t feel bad about not informing them of their error. They were just going to toss the pizza in the garbage if I’d taken it back. At least this way it didn’t go to waste.)

Random post: over. ;)

Isn’t it nice when mess-ups end in your favor? The last few times we stopped at Wendy’s for a quick grab-and-go lunch, despite asking for two chicken nugget kids’ meals, we ended up with one chicken nugget, one cheeseburger. Alyssa likes cheeseburgers, but she also likes being obstinate for the hell of it. *eyeroll* So when I’d go back with my receipt to ask for the second chicken nugget kids’ meal, they told me — both times — to just keep the cheeseburger kids’ meal. *shrug* Someone will eat it!

Oh, and smashed pizza? Visually unappealing, and perhaps a bit messier to eat, but still quite delicious. :D
